DigiSetu, created by Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC) (“we”, “our”, or “us”), values your trust and is committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, applicable data protection laws, and industry best practices.

Our App and Web platform are intended solely for use by our own authorised and legally qualified healthcare workers as part of their professional activities. By using DigiSetu, you confirm that you are a registered healthcare professional or an authorised member of a healthcare team.

We may collect the following information:

A. Personal Information You Provide

  • Title/Designation
  • Contact details (street address, postal address, email address, phone number)

  • Date of birth
  • Next of kin details

B. Location Information

  • Precise or approximate location when you grant location permission (used for healthcare service delivery, compliance, and operational purposes).

C. Device Permissions and Data Access (App Only)

  • Camera – to capture and upload images or videos (e.g., for patient records, documentation).
  • Audio (Microphone) – for voice/video consultations or audio recording features.
  • Fingerprint – for secure biometric authentication.
  • Bluetooth – to connect to approved medical devices or peripherals.
  • Storage – to read/write files, upload medical documents, and store reports locally.

2. How We Use Your Information

Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their personal data collected through DigiSetu at any time. Upon receiving a valid request, we will process the request and delete or anonymize the user’s data from our active systems within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by applicable law.
