Capacity Building

GEOHealth HEALS Training Grant

The GEOHealth HEALS training program is tackling the shortage of environmental health professionals in India. With a focus on translating research findings into impactful policies, the program aims to provide researchers, educators, and policymakers with essential skills.

This collaborative training initiative involves the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Centre for Chronic Disease Control, and the Public Health Foundation of India. Together, they foster partnerships and enhance capacity building in environmental health. The GEOHealth Project prioritizes the fusion of research with training and capacity building to confront India’s significant environmental health challenges.

The GEOHealth HEALS Project commenced in December 2022. The project spans five years and is currently in its second year.
